New Regatta Recycle.me circular clothing range launched

02 November 2026

Regatta Professional's Recycle.me clothing range is now available from Arco, combining durable workwear with a free take-back scheme for textile-to-textile recycling.

Combining 100% polyester mono-fibre fabric and trims with a free take-back scheme, the range gives customers a way to return worn-out Recycle.me garments for recycling, rather than discarding them.

Regatta Professional has developed the range in partnership with the Circular Textiles Foundation , Salvation Army Trading Company (SATCoL) and Project Re:claim , bringing together design for recyclability, garment collection and textile-to-textile processing.

Designed for recycling from the start

Garments made from mixed materials can be difficult to recycle. Some textile recovery processes turn them into products such as insulation or soundproofing, rather than materials for new clothing – a process known as downcycling.

Recycle.me takes a different approach. Its mono-fibre construction and simplified trims are designed for processing through Project Re:claim's mechanical recycling system, while retaining the quality and durability associated with Regatta Professional garments.

The range has been awarded the Circular Textiles Foundation's 'Infinitee' mark, providing 3rd party accreditation that the products have been designed to be recycled.

When returned garments reach Project Re:claim, the polyester is shredded, melted, cooled and cut into pellets. These can then be supplied to the textile industry to be spun into new yarn, helping retain the material's value beyond the garment's original use.

In the UK alone, 300,000 tonnes of textile items are discarded into household waste, including polyester. Up until now, polyester that had no useful life left would have been disposed of. With this project, we can now save that waste and return it to supply chains.

A free take-back scheme for worn-out garments

Customers can return Recycle.me garments when they reach the end of their working life using the free take-back scheme operated with SATCoL. There is no set return timescale: the garments are designed to be used for as long as they remain suitable.

To arrange a return, scan the QR code printed inside the garment, enter your details online and download a free shipping label. Then package the garment and take it to a designated drop-off point.

The scheme is available across the UK, including Northern Ireland, and accepts only Recycle.me garments. Items must be cleaned before posting; heavily soiled garments may be rejected.

Each parcel can contain up to 15kg, with maximum dimensions of 41 × 38 × 64cm, and customers can send multiple parcels. SATCoL will email confirmation once the garments have been received into the recycling process.

Workwear that can carry your branding

Customers can use Customised by Arco to add their branding to Recycle.me garments in three easy steps, while keeping the garments suitable for the recycling scheme.

Through SATCoL, branded garments returned through the scheme receive brand protection throughout the recycling process to the point of destruction.
