FLX Case Studies

FLX is proven to transform the health of employees in a range of businesses and settings

The FLX app was developed over 15 years from a wealth of data and its success has been proven in a range of businesses.

We're driven by keeping people safe at work and the FLX programme has been instrumental in helping businesses reduce sick days by empowering employees to manage and recover from musculoskeletal pain.

A staggering 14.9 million people nationally have a musculoskeletal disorder. Many suffer from joint and muscle pain, stiffness, limited mobility and disability affecting their quality of life, mental health and independence. They affect everyone from machine operatives and construction workers to office workers. As part of Arco's commitment to keeping your people and business safe, we’re on a mission to change this.

Take a look at the case studies below to find out how businesses are using the app and the impressive results they're seeing.

How The FLX App Was Developed

The FLX app was developed over a 15-year period by Chartered Physiotherapist and Biomechanics expert Martin Haines.

Over 4000 Participants

Martin and his team of experts measured the biomechanical function of over 4,000 people using sophisticated isokinetic machines, lumbar motion monitors and video analysis.

The subjects included a wide range of different types of people, from elite athletes, those who took part in sports recreationally to more sedentary people.

Informed by a Wealth of Data

From the data this study provided, the team was able to classify biomechanical profiles, correlate these with their injuries, establish the key biomechanical causes of pain and determine the rehabilitation they needed. The exercise programmes were created by a range of experts including physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, exercise physiologists, biomechanists and strength and conditioning coaches.

This information feeds into the algorithms of the FLX app to provide a personalised experience to each user, helping them to manage existing issues and help prevent future problems.
