Made from renewable natural fibres, these maintenance absorbents combine outstanding absorbency rates with excellent environmental credentials. Absorbent booms are designed to float on the surface of water to absorb oil spills, yet are manufactured with hydrophobic properties meaning they will not be filled with water. That said, it is recommended that you avoid using this spill absorbent on water containing soap or detergent, as the product will sink.
