The AlphaTec 3000 PAPR coverall is a fully encapsulated liquid-tight chemical suit providing protection from skin hazards and respiratory protection when used in combination with a powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR) such as the Sundström SR 500 or SR 500EX fan unit with relevant filters (sold separately). The AlphaTec 3000 fabric offers a barrier to hazardous liquids and particulates, radioactive particles and infective agents.

• Antistatic PAPR chemical suit made from antistatic non-woven barrier laminate fabric (80g/m²)
• Protects against electrostatic discharge, airborne solid particulates and small spatters from liquid chemicals, as well as particulate radioactive contamination for a limited amount of time
• Protects the wearer from a range of biological hazards including body fluids, bloodborne pathogens and liquid aerosol penetration, as well as both wet and dry microbial penetration
• Double-elasticated cuffs facilitate a liquid-tight connection with chemical gloves (though additional taping or glove links are required)
• Air-permeable SMS collar maintains sufficient air in the breathing zone
• Four exhalation valves at the rear of the chemical suit to allow carbon dioxide to escape
• Attached socks with boot over-flap
• Emergency rip cord allows wearer to quickly remove garment if necessary
• Panoramic visor design ensures a good field of vision
