The ZOLL AED 3 is a defibrillator that’s designed to provide non-medical personnel with support and advice so they can provide CPR in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest. It features a high-resolution, colour screen with easy-to-follow graphics, as well as visual and audible feedback on the rate and depth of chest compressions. This version is semi-automated which means that once you’ve placed the pads on the patient, the machine will check to see if defibrillation is needed and if so, prompt the user to push the shock button.
