From this fibre Roots have created these superb flame-retardant trousers, which feature inherent protection that can’t be washed out. They also offer great antistatic properties and guard against the thermal hazards of electric-arc flash, making them ideal for welders. The Kermel fabric also provides fantastic comfort compared to other flame-retardant fabrics and come with an array of handy pockets including space for kneepads.

• Flame-retardant trousers designed to meet a range of protective EN standards, crafted from 230g/m² inherently flame-retardant fabric (50% Kermel aramid, 25% modacrylic Protex, 24% Tencel, 1% antistatic)
• Provides protection against hazardous welding techniques that may cause low levels of spatter and radiant heat, as well as some levels of flame spread, convective heat and contact heat
• These men’s trousers also protect against electric-arc 4kA (arc energy 168 kJ) and limited chemical splash
• Flame-retardant reflective tape features throughout these trousers to ensure the wearer remains noticeable to others, even in low-light conditions
• Features two side swing pockets and two hip patch pockets with a rule pocket on the right leg
• Kneepad pockets to fit the TROJAN kneepads
