A softshell jacket offers a great alternative to a fleece or heavier jacket if the weather improves. But this is no ordinary softshell. The Sioen Playford softshell jacket is a high-tech, high-spec garment that not only offers electric arc protection, but also includes a host of other features. It offers inherently flame-retardant protection which means these properties won’t wash out and the inclusion of antistatic yarn provides electrostatic dissipative qualities too. Meanwhile, the hi-vis colour helps to improve your visibility to others in low-light conditions such as dark, enclosed spaces, and it even features protection against limited chemical splash and thermal resistance to cold. • Made from 350g/m² three-layer softshell fabric made up of polyester, breathable flame-retardant polyurethane and inherently flame-retardant fleece
• Provides protection against hazardous welding techniques that may cause high levels of spatter and radiant heat
• Tested to protect against some levels of flame spread, convective heat, radiant heat and contact heat
• Flame-retardant, high-visibility reflective tape

• Suitable for use in welding applications
