This flame-retardant balaclava is designed to provide both protection and extra warmth for the head and neck. By wearing this under other protective clothing with a hood, this balaclava can reduce the risk of burn injury by giving the wearer longer to react before sustaining a burn to the skin. This flame-retardant underwear is manufactured from an inherently flame-retardant fabric which means the FR protection can’t be washed out.
